Aluminum plate alloys have been widely applied in light rail, metro and high-speed rail. The features of light weight, corrosion resistance and good performance can be obtained by largely using aluminum in railway transportations. Aluminum plate are mainly used as outer body sheet, inner decorative sheet, roof and floor plank. Furthermore, some aluminum tubes with small size are used for ventilation and transmission devices within the trains as well.

Aluminum plate : Aluminum Plates are placed in wooden boxes on wooden skids with runners along the length of the sheet. They are wrapped in HDPE with hardboard on top and bottom of the stack. Hoop iron strapping runs along the length of the sheets. Silica gel packets are put in the boxes for moisture protection.(Aluminum plate) |
